Concept / DemoE-commerce
Maison Vel — fashion store
Large imagery, quick variant selection, and a checkout that does not lose people.
A concept by MS Keys Gate, built to demonstrate capability. It is not a client project and was never commissioned.
Screens
maisonvel.example
Collection. A calm grid with quick-add on hover and clear filtering.
What it sets out to prove
- Let imagery lead without pushing price and size out of view
- Change colour and size without a page reload or a layout jump
- Get from cart to confirmation in three screens
Built with
- Next.js
- Headless commerce
- Optimistic UI
- next/image
Variant picker that holds its space
Swatches and sizes reserve their layout on load, so selecting a variant never shifts the add-to-cart button.
Checkout as a short list
Contact, shipping and payment on one scrollable page with a persistent summary, not a four-step wizard.
