Aualis — luxury hotel
Editorial photography-led layout, calm typography, and a booking widget that stays out of the way until it is needed.
A concept by MS Keys Gate, built to demonstrate capability. It is not a client project and was never commissioned.

Home. Full-bleed imagery, a short welcome, and the three things guests book.
What it sets out to prove
- Make the property feel like somewhere you want to be before showing a price
- Keep a persistent booking entry point without letting it dominate the page
- Give rooms, dining and spa equal weight rather than burying them in a menu
Built with
- Next.js
- Static rendering
- next/image
- CSS view transitions
Deferred booking bar
The date and guest selector docks quietly at the foot of the viewport and expands on focus, so browsing is never interrupted.
One type family, many weights
A single editorial serif carries headings, room names and body copy at different optical sizes — no competing display font.
